Beyond the Books

 

I write strong, diverse women, grown-up love, complicated relationships, and happily-ever-afters that aren't always wrapped in neat little bows. Because love doesn't have an expiration date—and neither do good stories.

By day, I'm a registered nurse with more than two decades in healthcare. After years of travel nursing and bouncing from one state to another, I now call Central Florida home. I still enjoy taking up space on somebody's beach whenever the opportunity presents itself.

I'm a mom of three grown children, grandma to five, and human staff to Sir Remington and Max. I collect boxes, notebooks, and a perfectly reasonable number of pens—some of which are apparently too pretty to use.

When I'm not nursing, writing, reading, or caffeinating, you'll probably find me sharing books, memes, random giggles, and assorted foolishness on social media.
